Her Milkshake...

Here's a rumor that's got the internet buzzing. Singer Kelis supposedly has a sex tape floating out there and Wendy Williams is trying to sell it to the highest bidder! Williams put the business out there on her talk radio show but did not name names. Unfortunately the tape doesn't feature Kelis and her hubby Nas. Hip Hop Weekly found the guy who is allegedly in this video with Kelis and he admitted to having a sexual encounter with her in the past. Details are hazy after that though. This guy, New York rapper Infrared, didn't give off the impression that he made, had or even knew of a sex tape at the time. According to contactmusic.com, the tape was maybe made around January 2007. Nas and Kelis were married in 2005. Hip hop's little-couple-that-could might hit a few bumps in the road if a tape surfaces from '07. So far the couple is laying low on this rumor. I guess free press is free press.

Pimpin' Really Ain't Easy

So Katt Williams has had a lot of press lately and none of it has been positive. First he missed hosting the BET awards and an appearance on "Late Night with Conan O' Brien" according to MTV.com. Then a collection of rumors began swirling from his disappearance last week. Now there's news that he spent Thursday night in a New York jail and was released on bail just minutes before he was scheduled to perform at Carnegie Hall Friday night, according to AllHipHop.com. He was charged with criminal possession of a handgun and dragged to jail with a few members of his entourage after police found guns in clear view in two of Williams' parked cars. I don't know if this is a publicity stunt but he does have a DVD coming out this week. Why didn't he just plug his merchandise on the shows that he had originally booked like normal people do?

JUKE SQUAD "HOT TOPICS": EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW WITH JAY CLASSIK - CEO OF HUSTLE FAM MUSIC GROUP

Photobucket

JAY CLASSIK a*K*a HUSTLE SIMMONS

Photobucket

TROYBOY: First off, let everyone know who you are and where you from.

JAY CLASSIK: Awready! Jay Classik aka Hustle Simmons and I'm from wherever the money is ya dug!!! Originally from East, TX but reside in H-town!!!!

TROYBOY:
Now, enlighten people of what Hustle Fam is and everything that fall under that umbrella.

JAY CLASSIK: Well Hustle Fam Music Group is an Ent. company or movement to some that consist of The Hustle Fam Firm(Marketing/Management Firm), Hustle Squad DJ's(DJ Organization), The Beat Fanatiks(Production Coalition/Organization) and Hustle Fam Mamis(Female Modeling Group). We're growing and expanding, but that's pretty much the umbrella. The Management/Marketing side of things our roster includes: Yung Texxus, $park Dawg, Dorrough Music, Ca$h, Mistah Fab, and the Da Blockboi. The Hustle Squad DJ's you can check out @
myspace.com/hustlesquaddjs, and producers I rock with are 2Much, Q.Smith, The Bizness, Baron Boys, and a up and coming producer Scotty Wu. So we just going hard!!!

TROYBOY: What is the purpose for each of the mentioned divisions?

JAY CLASSIK:
To play it's part within the movement or machine. ….lol

TROYBOY:
What actual part of the music business did you first start off in to get you to the point you're at now?

JAY CLASSIK:
Well I've experienced all sides of the music business from writing to producing to being an A&R to running a new age ENT machine. So I would just say started off hustling and ended up, well u get the picture (wink)

TROYBOY:
Who or what inspired you to add your two cents to the game? And what, at the time, did you feel that you had to offer that was different from everyone else?

JAY CLASSIK:
I mean it's just my love for both music and business. I guess that's why I've had as much success so early because I love and understand both sides from the creative to the tactical side. As far as what I had to offer, it was me, Classik, the thoughts and creativity is what I wanted to and currently bringing to the game

TROYBOY:
Is what you had to offer then any different from now?

JAY CLASSIK: Nah, it's actually bigger and better now, things are more tangible now. Before it was just a vision, a few years later, a stronger team and a crazy grind, it's now a reality that's becoming more in tune with what I envisioned!

TROYBOY:
Since starting off as a producer, what artist have you worked with?

JAY CLASSIK: Pretty much my artists, the movement, I never really stayed in that lane or zone long enough to really expand the creativity as a producers to artists outside the brand.

TROYBOY:
As being CEO, or the Russell Simmons….MY BAD FOLK, MY BAD!!!! I mean the Hustle Simmons of today's generation. Do you still put in work as a producer?

JAY CLASSIK:
Well honestly fam I love that tag because it says a lot about me and how my peers (who gave Classik the name) feel about me. However I'm far from Russell Simmons status for now, and I'm not totally comfortable with that comparison just yet, at least until I've put together that resume and I've put my stamp on the music industry. Staying focus, hungry, and humble is pretty much how I operate in this music business. Production wise, I still produce in terms of writing records, concepts, and making sure any record that I'm involved in gets from point A to point B before it's a finished product. However hands on beat making, haven't had time to do that in awhile, but I'm sure after I get the brand to the level I want it to be then I'll be back on the boards

TROYBOY:
Back to the Hustle Fam divisions. With Hustle Fam Music Group, which I know is the base of everything, how many artists do you have officially signed to the label? Are any other potential artist expected to be added to the roster?

JAY CLASSIK:
Well it's not a music label, even though it's the machine behind successful indie labels popping right now, but again signed to me directly on the management side are Texxus, Ca$h, Dorrough Music, and Da Blockboi who all got smash records out right now(Ca$h "Walk wit a Dip", Texxus "Freaky Like That", Dorrough "Caramel Sundae", and Da Blockboi "Check out my Fit") and will be Icon artists when we decide to gracefully bow out. Oh yea which we will, I refuse to have any of our artist still talking about Dope Boy Fresh @ like 40, not really feeling that. That's why I teach my guys early to build brands within the brand and how to prepare themselves to be a real music executives not just a rapper turned executive. That thought process is real to me, and I will still be involved in helping them achieve those dreams and goals 15 to 20 years later if I'm not already retired and into politics. Oh yea and we're always looking to work with new talent and new clients

TROYBOY: Who would you say is your flagship artist?

JAY CLASSIK: All of them because each one has their own lane!! I never manage two of the same type of artists with the same style or content unless they're unique circumstances. However I try to shy away from that cause as long as you have an unclogged lane the artist can reach their fullest potential.

TROYBOY:
Tell us about the management and marketing side and let us know what artist you're working with as well as what shall the public expect from them?

JAY CLASSIK: Well I pretty much told you about the management side of it, and of course we contribute our marketing tactics, consulting, and concepts to all artists we manage. However, we do provide artist and labels with marketing and consulting as well. So at the end of day if it's putting an artist on billboard or building an artist/label a brand that they can eat off without the major machine, then that's us!!!! Our resume speaks volumes!!!!

TROYBOY:
With other DJ Crews that's spread across the nation, how do your Hustle Squad DJs break the mold of being a common crew?

JAY CLASSIK: It goes back to having your own lane, I just feel like we're in our own lane and we've create something with the Hustle Squad DJ's that go beyond just DJ'ing. We teach all our DJ’s or at least the active one's that are on their grind how to be an executive and how to play both side. It's an amazing thing because the avg age is 22 of our Dj Movement. We're able to influence and teach DJ's coming up how to become a brand or how to work within a organization with more of a corporate structure than just a group of guys that just do DJ ish!!! Plus I'm not a DJ and I think that works well because every Hustle Squad DJ has the chance to be that Superstar DJ as opposed to playing second to a DJ lead DJ Organization

TROYBOY:
Tell me, when did you establish the crew and what have been some of their accomplishments in their term?

JAY CLASSIK:
Started it April of 2006, dropped the first official hustle squad dj mixtape which is Awready V.1(The famous Awready Series) in May hosted by Tum Tum with the homie DJ Chill!!! Tum dropped the joint "Awready Bro" we were the first to debut that record and introduce it, we been rock with Tum. Still rocks with Tum, even though I don't care to much about that production group he fucking with. I'll leave that right there tho, but yea man it's so many accomplishments you would just have to google them. Just google Hustle Squad DJ's. Shout out to the Southern Ent Awards too!!!

TROYBOY:
What can the country, or shall I say the WORLD expect from the HUSTLE FAM MUSIC GROUP after having so many accomplishments?

JAY CLASSIK: More growth and expansion!!! More good music and creativity!!! More big events and more success!!! Just doing us and pleasing the consumer/fans making sure we stay consistent for them. We're nothing without them, they're the reason we've grown so fast, they're the reason why the Hustle Squad DJ's are consider one of the top DJ Organizations in the world. They're the reason why our artists and clients have successful records as well as projects!!!

TROYBOY:
What can the WORLD expect from JAY CLASSIK a*K*a HUSTLE SIMMONS?

JAY CLASSIK: Greatness!!!! That's all I strive for and teach!!! Classik moves and Classik thoughts!!!

TROYBOY: APPRECIATE YOUR TIME FAM!!! I'M GONNA LET YOU GET BACK TO YOUR HUSTLE...BEFORE WE GET UP OUT, ARE THERE ANY SHOUTOUTS OR ANYTHING YOU WANT TO SAY TO YOUR FANS?

JAY CLASSIK: Just thanks to the whole movement, the fans, and the supporters. Keep listening cause we're gonna keep coming!!! O.J. SIMPSON IS FOUND GUILTY ON ALL CHARGES! ! !

LAS VEGAS - O.J. Simpson, who went from American sports idol to celebrity-in-exile after he was acquitted of murder in 1995, was found guilty Friday of robbing two sports-memorabilia dealers at gunpoint in a Las Vegas hotel room.

Simpson, 61, could go to prison for life.

A weary and somber Simpson released a heavy sigh as the charges were read by the clerk in Clark County District Court. He was immediately taken into custody.

The Hall of Fame football star was convicted of kidnapping, armed robbery and 12 other charges for gathering up five men a year ago and storming into a room at a hotel-casino, where the group seized several game balls, plaques and photos. Prosecutors said two of the men with him were armed; one of them said Simpson asked him to bring a gun.

Simpson's co-defendant, Clarence "C.J." Stewart, 54, was also convicted on all charges.

The verdict came 13 years to the day after Simpson was cleared of murdering his ex-wife and a friend of hers in Los Angeles in one of the most sensational trials of the 20th century.

THIS IS A BREAKING NEWS UPDATE. Check back soon for further information. AP's earlier story is below.

LAS VEGAS (AP) — O.J. Simpson has been found guilty on all charges in the gunpoint robbery of two sports memorabilia dealers in a Las Vegas casino hotel room more than a year ago.

The 61-year-old former football faces up to life in prison.

A somber Simpson released a heavy sigh as the charges were read Friday in Clark County District Court. He was immediately taken into custody.

The verdict comes 13 years to the day after Simpson was acquitted of killing his ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and her friend, Ronald Goldman, in Los Angeles.

Co-defendant Clarence "C.J." Stewart also was found guilty on all charges and taken into custody.

The men were tried on 12 criminal charges.
